12 cups water
3 1/2 cups sugar
1 oz peppermint extract
1 large bottle of everclear
Bring water and sugar to boil, cool to room temp. Add extract and booze. Approximately 4 quarts.
I place in cleaned and boiled canning jars, boil lids and place on container.
You could try other extracts and see which ones you like best.
