Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients
Ingredients for the coffee cake
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp soda
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 cup sour cream
Ingredients for the topping
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 9×9 greased pan

Instructions

Instructions for Coffee Cake
    1. Cream butter, sugar, and add eggs one at a time.
    2. Sift dry ingredients
    3. Add to creamed mixture
    4. Alternate between that and the sour cream
Instructions for Topping
  1. Mix together the sugars and cinnamon, set aside.
  2. Pour half mixture in pan, cover with half of the topping.
  3. Pour remaining mixture and cover with remaining topping.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees.
