Ingredients for the coffee cake
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
Ingredients for the topping
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup cup sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 9×9 greased pan
Instructions
Instructions for Coffee Cake
- Cream butter, sugar, and add eggs one at a time.
- Sift dry ingredients
- Add to creamed mixture
- Alternate between that and the sour cream
Instructions for Topping
- Mix together the sugars and cinnamon, set aside.
- Pour half mixture in pan, cover with half of the topping.
- Pour remaining mixture and cover with remaining topping.
- Bake at 325 degrees.
